that happens to be where i first saw a real live computer; high school field trip in the mid-70s; we got to look at the machine through a window and watch someone punch something into a teletype; i had a charter subscription to Byte magazine, but i hadn't touched a computer, and still hadn't after that trip until i bought myself a programmable calculator in 1977
