Well, that at least makes me feel a little more confident should I decide
to start listing..

But, you're not aware of sort of community site to do so?

Is anyone here?

I find it hard to believe there's not a site out that that acts as an
middleman to put starving artists in touch with people who want original
artwork, and does nothing else but this.

Not neccessarily in a bidding/ebay enviroment, either, but just over all.
And not just for photographers, but other artists, as well. This seems
like a niche that could easily be filled.. anyone else interested? :)

I'm an admin at an ISP with a pretty healthy web hosting and colo base.
I'm, unfortuantly, far too familar with what can be done, and the
headaches having to run the machines for people. :)

I look forward to selling prints, and not for any money at all, but for
the fact that if I sell a print, it means that someone, somewhere, is
going to hang it up, look at it, and enjoy it. I want to find people who
would buy my work for that reason, and that reason alone.

Again, I can't imagine I'm the only person like this.. or maybe I am.
