I scored a pretty good ebay win: a Bogen 3047 tripod head, new in box
with three QR plates for $55. Now I need to upgrade my 3011 tripod. I'm
thinking I should go all the way to the 3051 for 6x7 and 4x5 large
format use. I also like the fact that the 3051 will extend the legs for
low-level use. Is there a better choice? Perhaps something that's not
quite as heavy?
