if you use Chrome you can add this extension, which will put up a small alert when you visit sites that are still Heartbleed-vulnerable:

i can't vouch that it's perfect, but some of the negative reviews are misguided; the extension *only* pops up a notice if there's a vulnerability; also, on some sites navigation may take you to different subdomains (such as the comment about logging off), so you need to be conscious of whether you are actually doing a "secure activity" on the domain that you are warned about
