yes, it was a little facetious; both wget & Lynx block javascript ;?> , but
Lynx has advantages, including the fact it does render HTML (text at least),
and i was under the impression there was a way to do "toolbars" with Lynx; if i
were doing text-based browsing, though, i think i'd opt for emacs
John's mention of bookmarks startled me... I've been using an online bookmark
system for so long I almost forgot that browsers still have them!
bookmarks, shmookmarks; anything i follow goes into my RSS reader(s), and i
periodically capture a tab sweep into Evernote (can share an applescript that
will do this for Chrome or Safari), and sometimes send things to Reading List;
plus i am getting ready to do some linkblogging with fargo.io
