Stan's Oriole prompted me to put this one up on Flickr.
As I've been going through & scanning old film, I found what must have
been the first roll of Kodak Ektar 25 that I tried. One of the frames
has what I think might be some kind of an Oriole.
All I know for sure is it's not a Cardinal and I'm pretty sure it's not
a Robin.

My best guess is this is around about Feb 20, 1989 or so. If memory
serves Ektar 25 was introduced in January & according to weather
records, we had 4 inches of snow in Raleigh on Feb 19.
I noticed the birds were hanging around a fallen limb at the rear edge
of my property, about 50 feet from my house. I hung up my army poncho up
under my back porch to make a blind, set up my tripod and poked the lens
out through the opening for the head.
It was probably taken with an LX & a Soligor F/8 Cat lens w/ Pentax-K
T-mount. It's not real sharp.
Anyway, it's the only one of the kind I remember seeing.
