I've changed my view on Adobe's rent-rather-than-buy policy.

I've been using a copy of CS3 that I bought (heavily discounted - not pirated!) a few years ago. There's no way I could afford to buy the current version if it were put on sale at the exorbitant price that CS6 sells for, but I can justify 10 bucks a month for Photoshop CC + Lightroom.

And if Adobe's site goes down for a few days, I can live with that.

Admittedly, though, I'm not trying to publish a major (or any) newspaper  :-)>
