When I was in Wanaka in January I was needing to get up quite early each
morning to prepare myself for the early start on race day. After getting up I
would usually wander around the lakeside watching the sunrise while my wife
"slept in" until a more reasonable time. I'd carry the camera with me and took
quite a few photos... it's taken me this long to finally get around to
presenting a few (a baker's dozen, to be precise).

After the race I decided to keep getting up early - I've always been a bit of a
late riser and it had been annoying me. My wife took advantage of my early
starts to get a cup of tea delivered to her in bed every morning, which
continues to this day :)

Cheers,
Dave
