That's very strange. I never have trouble with Vimeo content; it all plays just fine, even embedded on other folks' pages. Vimeo is also a much nicer environment to host videos than Youtube. People who post original content often have Youtube robots snarking at them about their vids containing stolen audio or video when it is in fact 100% original.
