Curious - - why detested?
About half the time I can't get it to play.
I try switching on JavaScript for all the domains it wants to run
scripts (usually several), turn on cookies and anything else I can
think of and it still won't play 50% of the videos I try.
YouTube is always trouble free.
I have not found Vimeo to be quite that much trouble.
Nor was YouTube always trouble free, even before Google EFFED them up.
