AFAIK, all [recent] Samyang lenses come with the mount that analogous
to "A" lenses of Pentax (i.e. KA mount).

I didn't have a change to read the release documents that you mentioned,
but I suspect they might mean something different by that "automatic".
(I saw mentioning of "AE" for Nikon.)

Note that what has caused some confusion previously is that many
merchants were posting images of Samyang lenses in different mounts onto
the Pentax-mount product page.

It looks like a decent lens, by all accounts, but the release documents
quoted at a couple of sites don't look encouraging, in that only Nikon
mounts are said to support "automatic" operation. What ever that might
mean.

What I'm taking it to mean is that all mounts except Nikon are plain old
machined metal mounts with an aperture ring, while Nikon has the
electronics for open aperture metering. KA mounts are simple enough to
engineer but Samyang didn't bother to acquire whatever rights are now
required to make anything other than plain K mount lenses.

I could be wrong about that, but you would think that they'd tout having
full metering compatibility with Pentax if they actually supported it.
