right; i think there are some high-end adapters (Novoflex?) that can manage the camera-controlled aperture settings of some Pentax lenses, but most adapters become useless unless you just want to shoot at maximum aperture; this is also relevant when using extension tubes
i have the Sigma EX 105mm macro, which is excellent, yet i have been ogling the Pentax macros because they are significantly lighter, and they have better contrast in non-ideal light
