Hello Igor, while an f2.8 lens is certainly welcome, I for one would prefer the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6, as it gives better flexibility - auto focus, electronic metering, many lenses in one, cheaper price. I believe a Tokina version of a SWA Lens is f2.8 too. Plus my copy of the Sigma is brutally sharp. And on our European Tour especially in Italy, we found the Tammy 17-50 f2.8 was not wide enough - huge monuments, tall spires within very narrow streets were just impossible to capture. Why even the Eiffel Tower in Paris cannot be captured with the 17-50 unless you move out further a couple of streets - risking traffic, and straying far out from your group - we were with the Thomas Cook guided 3-weeks tour of Western Europe. All I can say is that you can produce some magic at the 10mm focal length - one just needs to experiment. Regards. Bipin. camp: Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.
