Thanks, ann. I didn't ever think it was the Grand Canyon. Stated a couple times 
that I didn't know, hence; "Mystery Canyon."
Too sloping, rounded and wooded. Not sharp, rugged and vertical enough for the 
G.C..
I've been to the Snake River at various locations, but never in Idaho.
I'm leaning Yellowstone, especially with your encouragement.
Glad we settled that! haha

right either.. I think Yellowstone might be right.. But also, what about 
the snake river in IDaho? The canyon walls definitely look like
volcanics - rim trees look like the Ponderosa
