Love the first one.

Last spring I did a training ride out to a small town called Little River which
is about halfway to Akaroa. The last few km alongside Lake Forsyth had some of
the biggest clouds of winged insects I'd ever seen and I had to ride right
through them. Had to choose between keeping my mouth shut or covering it with
one hand. I convinced myself they were too big to be mosquitoes but when I
arrived and took my helmet off I saw some in there.

They weren't quite as bad on the way home... I don't think any of them actually
bit me which is a surprise.

Cheers,
Dave
