Ok all this talk got me off my keister and down to Fry's. My 5.2 mac mini main drive was down to 160gb so I picked up a Seagate 1tb sshd drive. The swap has been done and my old drive is now being restored to the new one. Only 4 more hours of waiting. Hopefully the extra room and faster drive will give it a bump in responsiveness. Thanks for posting.
