Further follow-up:

"Disk Drill" did, indeed, find every single RAW file on that card.

When I plugged the card into my laptop, "Image Capture" saw 5 RAW files and 2
JPEGS.

When I was done scanning the card and dumping to the harddrive, I had a couple
thousand RAW files and a few hundred JPEG. 32.58GB, accounting for every
sector on his entire card. Complete successful recovery of every image, with
not a single "glitch"!
