Richard and PJ have made some perfect points, what if the packaging is small:- a) Warehouse losses b) Stores pilferage But the Costco packaging was 260 x 380 mm and no card storage case. That is HUGE considering that an A4 letter head is 210 x 290 mm. A 100 x 150 mm packaging could have served the purpose and the money saved used to include a little plastic case. Sir, do note that a pack of 4 - AA batteries are sold in 100 x 150 mm (4 x 6 inch) packaging. Plus today most stores and super markets use high tech chips embedded inside the packaging as anti theft, and Warehouses use them for inventory control. Latest news: After I wrote to SanDisk top brass I received 3-emails telling me they are looking into the matter. Regards. Bipin camp: Thornhill, Ontario.
PS: I use these cases to put little slips of paper as "format & use, or full" etc. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
