Many thanks to Frank Theriault and Gabriel Bovino for their kind words last
week about some gear I sold them. I sold Gabriel my FA*24mm well over a
year ago, and it was most gentlemanly of him to chime in so long after the
fact. And I have missed that 24mm, too, Gab.

I am putting a couple more things on the block. An SMC-A 70-210mm f4, and
my SMC-F 100mm macro. List members will recall a camera shop up in Michigan
that acquired a batch of Pentax macros from a pharmaceautical company and
sold them through e-bay. The store was in Mark Cassino's neighborhood, if I
recall correctly. This is one of those lenses. The project I needed it for
is done, and I am just not using it any longer. Is it legendary in
sharpness? I must confess it is. New, the FA version sells for something
like $480. I will sell this one for $310, which will include shipping (USA
only).

The 70-210mm is in excellent shape also but for a small mark on the edge of
the front element, very inconsequential, but some are bothered by less than
fully pristine front glass. Otherwise this is a very nice sample, no zoom
sliding, as some report on this lens. Very sharp, whistle clean elements
all the way through. If anyone would like, I could use the macro to
photograph the mark on the front and send a jpeg. $1205
The first of these 2 lenses to go will get the very clean hard case. It
came with the 70-210, but I use it for the macro.

And a new BG-10 battery grip for the MZ-S. $145.
