I saw a Sigma 600mm f6 mirror lens on eBay for $90 that looked to be in great
shape so I clicked the BIN button. It arrived yesterday—immaculate condition,
in the case with the four accessory filters. It's Nikon mount and I have the
adapters to fit it to both A7 and E-M1. So I stuck it on the E-M1 for a few
hand held test shots last evening. It's amazing how efficient that camera's
IBIS is... A couple of nice, shake free test shots with an effective 1200mm FoV
at 1/300-1/400 second. Of course it will work best on a tripod.

The lens is light, focuses smoothly, and handles easily. It's a little lacking
in contrast like most Mirror lenses, but that's easily accommodated in
Lightroom. Seems reasonably sharp too, but I'll leave judgement on that to when
I use a proper tripod.

Should be fun! For $90, cheap fun! :-)
