Darren, I haven't used those, but I have used MPIX in the past (a few times 5-7 years ago), and I was satisfied with them. They also have competetive pricing for the metallic prints: http://www.mpix.com/products/pricing/ 20x30: $33.99 They don't have 24"x36" listed for metallic, - they might or might not offer it.
Their shipping charges were very reasonable, but I don't remember what those were at the moment. Mpix offers a proofing profile for their paper [at least for the metallic one (I've used one for Photoshop)]. On one occasion I spoke with their customer service on the phone and the guy sounded very reasonable. I'm tempted to give them at try, but on the other hand "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". They lose points for the missing apostrophe in their name, but such is the condition of our nation. AdoramaPix, which I've used in the past, has these prices for Metallic Prints (followed by Nations Photo Lab, in parenthesis): 20x30...$135 ($29) 24x36...$190 ($38) Nations will also do 30x30 for $38 and 30x40 for $55. Haven't gotten far enough to see how their shipping costs compare. But for those prices, a guy has to give them a try, eh? -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
