Darren,
You probably are aware of this, but just in case: I found that the metallic paper is less forgiving with respect to the blown highlights. In addition, the color gamut for that paper is slightly smaller than that for a regular paper. So, to avoid surprises, I encourage to you "preview" function in Photoshop (I am not sure that it is possible to do in LR, at least up to LR-3) for the proper mpix metallic paper profile. Igor Darren Addy Thu, 14 Aug 2014 15:08:31 -0700 Thanks for that info Igor. Mpix is the digital arm of Miller's Professional Imaging in Pittsburg, KS and they were a top flight lab catering to professional photographers/studios back in the film days. The studios that I worked for used them and later when I had my own studio I used them. My son-in-law does a lot with MPIX also. I had just assumed that they would be higher priced, but your post will make me give them another look. I don't have to wonder about THEIR quality.
