I had never heard of Opteka before but I am glad that they produced
these extension tubes. They work great!
I'm surprised that no one produces even "K-A" mount compatible tubes
for the K-AF2. I am lucky to have an old set of Vivitar tubes with all
contacts - an "A" compatible setup - but AFAIK Pentax has never
produced any and no third party has made any for quite some time.
I can see how cam driven AF would be problematic if the cam was extended
across a bunch of extension tubes, but it would seem that it would be
very feasible to make a set of tubes with full contacts and support for
SDM AF. It would seem that the market for such tubes for the K-AF2 mount
would be vastly larger than that for the Q mount, so it seems odd that
they are not produced.
Or maybe the Q is selling a lot more than I think!

Thanks for the report. I had no idea that these extension tubes
existed. The fact that they retain AF makes them doubly interesting.
Opteka comes up with some useful items from time to time.
