Maybe not entirely OT ... PPofNC convention this weekend. We're having
the "shoot-in" again where the trade show vendors set up props, lights &
bring in models for everyone to take a hand at photographing and I'm
shooting Pentax.
This year we've also got the Sigma rep here with most of their new
lenses, except only in CaNikon mount. Rep says they will be bringing out
Pentax/Sony versions of most of them fairly soon.
I'm scheduled for a 7 hour class with Heather Chin (formerly Heather
Michell, aka "Heather the Painter") on Tuesday.
If y'all remember the Film Noir image from last year, expect me to have
at least one good studio shot from this year, and possibly something more.
Taking a break at home this afternoon because I wasn't interested in the
scheduled presentation, and I needed to spend some time working on my
laptop to be sure it's going to work its best on Tuesday. I'm headed
back later for the second "shoot-in" session. Kind of need to get my
shift on, because the next banquet is at 7:30pm.
