what I want to use the technique for is photographing items I'm selling
on ebay that are tiny. so I'm not looking to BLUR the background so
much as getting every tiny detail of an object nice and sharp.
Could this work if I focused on the front, say, set continuing/rapid
firing on, and turn the focusing ring of my 50 macro very slowly (with
camera on tripod of course) to get several frames to stack and then
run them through the stacking software?
Is there stacking software that is free or inexpensive and work
with or outside of photoshop elements 5.0?
