TMX has an exposure range of somewhere in the vicinity of 10
stops. The average slide film is around 5 stops.
For comparison, most colour neg films are around 8 stops, and
most scene types fall within 6 stops.
With careful exposure and processing control, TMX can produce a
16 stop range (I have done it).
