They've already had their price cut once, and with a 16mp sensor, even
though it's more than good enough for what most K50/500 users are likely
to need, those two camera's days are numbered, if the K30 didn't already
exist, I'd predict a K30/K300 pair with either 20 or 24mp sensors and
pretty much the same body style as the 50/500 to be released just after
Christmas, (because of Pentax's tradition of missing the major holiday
buying season in Japan, North America, and Europe). but Ricoh marketing
seems to be a bit more on the ball so maybe it will happen a month or
two before Christmas. Oh yea, that's about now. Nevermind.
