thanks for the note — i'll have to look for that one, as i grew up mostly in Maine, and have been collecting Elliot Porter books on the cheap; many of the texts are a bit cheesy, products of the times, but that one sounds perhaps better; text aside, the photos are pretty good and well printed on the books i've seen; they became more interesting for me after a local photographer managed to have a show of Porter's dye-transfer prints at his studio
