Predictive AF would be usefull for racing photography because it keeps a 
moving subject in focus as the shutter is tripped.  Trap focus could be 
usefull as well in racing because you could set the focus on a pre-determined 
part of the track and the shutter will trip automagically when a car hits 
that point.

Speaking of racing, are you going to Summitt Point the weekend of April 26th 
for the opening MARRS race?
