Quite true, usually streaks on the wall. We probably have at least a dozen in the house at any one time. They seem to breed quite well in the ventilation air bricks. The cats get some & others occasionally get squashed in door jambs but the birth rate still exceeds the death rate. We have several other species of lizards too (esp. skinks) but they all stay outside.
