Paul, strangely, the pro camcorders (beta, big DV,...) have
monochrome viewfinders. Reason I believe is that it allows it to have 3x more
pixels than a colour LCD finder, and allows for bigger and sharper
image, almost like a true TTL finder, at least in my experience. Compare it with 
crappy finders
in most normal camcorders which are colour.
