I'm always looking at the photos as if I took them and what would I'd if I had... I'm thinking if I could see the ice pattern on my monitor
the little leaf stem would not stand out so much and draw my eye to it.
But I like the dark at the bottom of the frame

looks like the stem of a leaf, and it doesn't bother me at all. Fine
image in every respect, IMO.

Yeah, I'd have to get rid of the tan thing poking up in the lower left corner
as well.

I don't see any ice pattern either...well.. a tiny bit if I look at my
monitor from a higher angle than I usually do. I actually would have
darkened the surface at the bottom a bit I think.

The little twig at the right on the bottom would go if I'd taken this -
but that is nitpicky

Thanks, Bob, Ken, and Jack.

Jack, there is an ice pattern on the surface that shows up on my home,
work, and laptop monitors, but not on my wife's iPad. It might be a
calibration difference.

Nicely seen & captured. If you go further with it I'd suggest a crop on the
bottom to eliminate some of the leaf less area.

We interrupt our trip to Berlin for this shot from my (cold) walk to work in
Philly this morning:

(K-5, DA 40/2.8 LTD)

The pond I pass was completely frozen over, both this morning and this evening.

Comments appreciated!
