We we toured the Southwest decades ago, my son was young enough that he insisted on going to the spot where you could place each of your four limbs in a different state at the same time. As I recall, it was on a reservation, and they were collecting "donations" to drive to what was said to be the exact intersection of the four state borders, and also collecting donations to take photos of or with the native Americans who were "safeguarding" the site. Given the conditions on those reservations, I was glad to give them more than the "suggested donation." My son also insisted stopping at all the "dinosaur track" sites, so we did, although they appeared pretty suspicious to me.
