Steve and I both frequent the same local diner, and tend to sit at the counter. Today he asked me about my doing some photos for him. Since my afternoon was open, he came over and we played with cameras a bit. We started out with ambient lighting in my back yard. The clear plastic tarp over my dance floor can give some very nice diffuse light, and I can use my redwood grove as a background:

I then set up some of my flash gear. I had one PCB X1600 as a key, with a softbox set up in an attempt at rembrandt lighting. Another one through a grid to shine a circle of light on the redwoods. I used my YN560 as a catch light and a fill.
