It was as clean as it looks. No sign of any decals. It looks like it was bought the way it is.

Usually, when that's done, you're still able to see where the decals were, the teardrop A-pillar lamp is still there, and you can see shadows of the door badges. They don't repaint, and often don't even give the car a washing. At least that's been the case with all of the ones I've seen (three or four dozen over the years). I don't see any of that in the photo, but it's a fairly small photo, too.
