No Ann they are definitely African Daises. Ice plant has extremely heavy 
succulent foliage, much of which is a very light shade of green.
Ice Plant grows brilliant perfusion along the CA coast in spring and summer.
Google will confirm.

Those are ice plants, yes? The leafage is saying that to me and I 
googled "ice plant" images and seemed to confirm.

They come across quite bright here -  I remember seeing them in So Cal
Pretty.
