Jack, I was just saying the look like ice plant to me.. although I also googled and found (somewhere that I've lost now) a photo that looked like yours and mentioned both common names in the description...

Guess it is best to always use botanical names for these things when they are known.

Yours don't look exactly like what I remember ice plants to look like but similar enough to make me think they were a variety. HAvent seen
