What we call a redback in Australia - very poisonous. Legend has it that Grassimof, a descendant of White Russian immigrants, living in a country part of Australia, went to the dunny and was bitten on the backside by one. After appropriate treatment, Grassimof survived but the spider died of alcoholic poisoning.
