My kaleidoscope has gone from "proof of concept" to "prototype". Projects like this are very good in exposing the shortcomings in both my table saw and my carpentry skills.
Fortunately, North glass accidentally cut an extra mirror, because I broke one of them this morning. Also my attempt at a tripod mount was a resounding failure. Plan B will be to drill and tap an aluminum plate and screw it to the bottom of one of the boards.
