If Ricoh owns this part of the company it means that they are doing
more to resurrect the brand than those that have come before it.
(Something I think most of us have suspected). Pentax used to make
superb telescopes also. Makes me wonder if maybe that part of the
business might be coming back also.
Just thought it was interesting. Now I'm verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves.
I'm pretty sure Ricoh bought everything of Pentax except for the medical
imaging division, which was all that Hoya ever wanted in the first place.
