The settings that were wrong showed up when I looked at the complete "info" with images going back several days.... I just scrolled backwards in the view until I came to a photo that was correct - I could pin point the occasion where I messed up.. It was in the restaurant whre my show is and the lighting was difficult so I stsarted fiddling with white balance, ISo, etc... but I couldn't really see what I was doing.

For the few photos That I actually needed between then and now I just corrected in photoshop - not knowing really what I had messed up -
too pressed for time to stop and try and figure it out...

What caught my attention was when I was looking at the photos I took yesterday - bright sunny day, no light problems - but I couldnt see flaws in the field becaause I couldnt see the LCD display in the bright light - I often shoot as if I were shooting film and don't even try to look at the LCD except for basic framing, if then. In the
best of light, i have to put on my reading glasses to see it.. So,
like in film days, I wait to see the results until I process the images.

This time the color was so seriously wrong I brought up the info on the camera after looking at the images on my monitor. and saw that little circle with the letter "G" next to it.. and then all the plus 4's beneath it, etc.. I didn't know what any of the symbols meant, but
I knew "g" must be "green" and that didn't see right :-)

Shake your head, roll your eyes and ignore my base query, Ann. I would in your
place. :-)))
Will be watching for the answer.

Subject: Help! problem with K-5 settings...

Top shows info for a photo where the color is totally off
bottom shows a photo that had correct color.

I don't understand the iconography, for one thing... Pretty sure
I simply pressed some levers or buttons at some point and that
caused the problem -

can't figure it out from the menu or the manual
I've been adjusting colors in elements for a couple of days
not looking at the info then it was really obvious today..

I took the photos of the backs of the camera just placing it on the
flatbed scanner and then circling the area of info showing the problem.
