cpu, display, camera, etc. are all the same, however
1) if you're buying new, only the 3 is available in 64 or 128GB (i recommend
lots of storage if you want to keep a lot of photos of videos on the iPad)
2) Touch-id (fingerprint unlock) is only available on the 3
in case you are considering the larger iPads, as i understand it, the
current iPad Air (non-Mini) has a significantly better display (wider gamut)
