HA! :-). What could go wrong? Everything! :-) It’s another chore I have to attend to; I know that because as Godfrey has said, tending to computer tech speed is a part of general maintenance, and it does make a difference in the user experience and productivity—and I agree with him on this. Lately, I’ve been having all sorts of thoughts about tech and the future of tech, but I’ll save those thoughts for another day :-). > > I have tried the HDR feature in LR6, though, and it is very interesting. > I've been doing some architectural work for a client recently, so getting the > HDR feature in LR was a major motivator for doing the upgrade. Also warrants experimenting with, I think. When watching the Adobe tutorial, Kost only had the +, -, and middle frame, and merged these three bracketed frames, so I my plan is to start with the bracketing feature to see what the results yield. I’ll let you know how my test results turn out. > > And Larry - I also came upon a work-around for getting past the limited > adjustment range in those HDR images: export the merged file as a tiff, > re-import into LR. Bingo, sliders are re-set, and you're off? Haven’t tried > it myself, but there you go. Yep, tiff is the way to go when doing this kind of work.
