I'm considering it as a second body, something more "point and shoot" that is small enough to carry around more regularly than the K5 with the 16-50. Kit is going right now for about $500 which seems great but I was wondering what people in Pentax-land think of the overall handling/image quality, etc.
These days the K5/16-50 combo, while beautiful and durable and capable, seems kind of heavy to carry around all day when traveling casually.
