Oh - I think I misunderstood your comment.
My old K10D stopped working with lenses in auto mode. The camera will
not stop them down. It will work with lenses in manual mode (I.e. using
the aperture ring - no "A" setting) - using stop down metering. The auto
focus works fine, the auto metering / auto modes no longer work. They
used to work, but the camera broke.... nothing to do with the IR conversion.
