I've noticed alot of older vehicles being left with the age old patina and
rehabing the interior and drivetrain - I like that alot more than some of
the over the top restorations I've seen on TV.

That's a mighty old U-haul clamp on trailer hitch on the back bumper,
and it looks like the front end is crumpled.
The restorable vintage market went bonkers here in the states in the
late 70s. The car is probably sitting there because the owner expects a
"collector" will pay an arm & a leg with a side order of first-born
child for it.

Very nice, Darren but what a waste. Would be worth a lot in SA today.

With apologies to Andrew Wyeth, but this just reminded me of an
automotive version of his "Christina's World". Taken with a Pentax K-3
and Sigma EX 10-20mm f4-5.6 in the "back forty" on an abandoned
farmstead in northwest Kansas. I believe that this paint color in 1959
was called "Frost Blue Poly" but I like how its hue is repeated in the
sky. https://goo.gl/TQ1oU1
Comments and criticism welcome in equal measure.
