Decided to try upgrading to LR6 today. Got the impression that currently it’s only available with the Creative Cloud plan, with the only options being paid monthly or prepaid.
Googling brought me this link which explains how to upgrade the standalone version. It appears Adobe’s not eager for us to find out that it’s still possible, but it is.
