A question for the macro mavens, Is there an noticeable difference in
depth of field of the subject, when using different focal length lenses?
For example, if I were to come in to the distance where I'm at 1:1
magnification with my 35, 50 and 90mm macros, and focus on the 10cm mark
on a ruler, would one of the lenses show more depth of field than the
others?
The 90mm lens will be furthest away and the 35mm lens would be nearly
touching at 1:1, and there would be big differences in how wide an angle
of background that you see, but is there much difference in what is in
focus?
