Aperture does that, well at least it can copy your files to a second destination, with the same folder structure, while adding them to a library; it doesn't mirror later changes

when i load images i always archive them to a server that way; periodically i run rsync -avun --delete to see if everything's working (those switches are for a dry run showing changed and missing files)

(Aperture still works fine, just isn't being further developed)
