Shel, You must be speaking about the Voigtlander Bessa-R. The wacky Voigtlander Bessa-T has a dedicated rangefinder with a 58mm baseline according to the CameraQuest website (http://www.cameraquest.com/VCBessaT.htm).
--Mark -----Shel wrote----- The Voightlander, OTOH, had a much shorter effective base length, and for this reason the camera is acknowledged to be almost useless for focusing long, fast lenses, even though such lenses will fit on the camera body. For example, Voigtlander makes a 75mm/2.5 and a 90mm/3.5, which are the fastest lenses made in those focal lengths as opposed to the much faster Leica lenses. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
